Support Report: Remove all global results from Local columns

For V-stops and Hanger support types, the Support report prints global values as local values. Example, see attached image.

Notice the Global axis direction is different from the indicated pipe's local axis direction.

Next notice the support's Local Z and X axis values are directly copied from the global axis directions. There is no consideration for local pipe or support axis direction.

Suggest to remove all global data from the Local results. Request that all local results are based upon local orientation and not global axis.

The same holds true for Results Grids, Support Tab, LocalDir1, LocalDir2, etc...

    Mike,

    How do you expect supports with only one defined local direction. I.e. vertical supports. One option would be to allow the user to choose a direction. Or if the support is connected to another pipe/beam, it would use that direction.

    This would be helpful for reporting loads for supports off tanks/vessels or non-orthogonal steel structures.
