Toggle Between v12 Result Grid and v24 Result Grid

The v12 Result grid was a much simpler, leaner, and straightforward method to data processing for the excel oriented layout it had. With the v24 Result grid, we CANNOT select any of the columns independently as previously on v12. This completely removes the ability to select the data properly to have it processed in Microsoft Excel or another program for engineering calculations to be done outside of the program.

Please include a feature to toggle between the two layouts as the v24 Result grid does NOT have this capability. See attachments for screenshots.

Thank you, Melvin, for your suggestion. The bad news is we will not be able to toggle as we no longer support the old grid technology. This was very old and based on 32bit technology that triggered security exceptions, so for the protection of our users we replaced it with a more modern grid tool that provides more functionality.

The good news is that you can do exactly what you previously did and more with the new grid. There is more than one route to this:

    1. Select the whole table using Ctrl A and copy / paste it into Excel. Remove the unwanted columns

    2. Hide the unwanted columns in the Results Grid first before selecting all and the paste to Excel.

    3. Use the Excel reports that are available in the Report Manager

      1. Open the whole thing and delete the unwanted columns in Excel

      2. Set up your own report configuration, deleting what you do not need, and save it for reuse

If you need any further help using the grid or the Excel reports, contact our support team. I am setting the status to Will not implement, as this isn't anything we can or need to do. Thanks again.
